By registering for the Kickstart Year-Round Development Program, a soccer training clinic operated by Kickstart, the parent/guardian and player acknowledge and agree to the following Cancellation and Refund Policy.
1. PROGRAM COMMITMENT
Registration in the Year-Round Development Program requires a one-time payment for the full session package. There are no installment plans, monthly payments, or pay-as-you-go options.
By registering and paying, the parent/guardian commits to the full session package. Kickstart commits coaching staff, facility space, equipment, insurance, and operational resources based on each registered player.
2. CANCELLATION REQUESTS
All cancellation requests must:
• Be submitted in writing by the parent/guardian on file
• Be sent by email to Kickstart at admin@fckickstart.com
• Include the player's full name, program details, and the reason for cancellation
Verbal notice, text messages, or stopping payments do not constitute cancellation.
Submission of a cancellation request does not automatically release the participant from financial responsibility or guarantee a refund.
3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
Payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any approved refund.
Before the first session:
• Refund requests received in writing before the player attends their first session will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• The parent/guardian must email admin@fckickstart.com explaining the reason for cancellation.
• Approval is at Kickstart's discretion.
After the first session:
• A refund will only be considered for a season-ending injury (with physician documentation) or other extraordinary circumstances approved by Kickstart.
• If approved, refunds will be prorated at Kickstart's discretion and apply only to future unused sessions.
After the second session:
• No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
4. AUTOMATIC ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT
This agreement is automatically accepted when any of the following occur:
• Registration is submitted
• The player attends any training session or program activity
Participation constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of all Kickstart policies and financial obligations.
5. FAILED OR REVERSED PAYMENTS
Payment must be received and clear before a player's registration is confirmed.
If a payment fails, is reversed, or becomes overdue, Kickstart may:
• Suspend participation privileges
• Remove the player from training sessions
• Charge applicable administrative or returned-payment fees
6. CHARGEBACK & PAYMENT DISPUTE POLICY
The parent/guardian agrees not to initiate a chargeback, payment reversal, or banking dispute for valid charges related to registration, training, equipment, or any services provided by Kickstart.
By completing registration and/or allowing participation, the parent/guardian acknowledges that:
• The payment transaction was authorized
• This is a one-time, full-program financial commitment
• Participation constitutes acceptance of Kickstart policies
The following may be used as evidence in response to any payment dispute or chargeback:
• Signed agreements and waivers
• Electronic acceptance records
• Registration timestamps and IP logs
• Payment confirmations
• Email or text communications
• Attendance records
• Equipment or apparel distribution records
If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed:
• The player may be immediately suspended
• The player may be removed from the program
• Future registrations may be denied
• The account may be referred to collections
• The parent/guardian may be responsible for outstanding balances, chargeback fees, administrative costs, collection fees, court costs, and reasonable attorney's fees
Kickstart reserves the right to pursue all legal remedies available for recovery of unpaid balances. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may also be reported to payment processors, financial institutions, and third-party registration platforms.
Voluntary withdrawal, dissatisfaction, scheduling conflicts, injury, relocation, or disciplinary action do not invalidate the financial agreement and do not constitute valid grounds for a chargeback.
7. WEATHER, FACILITY & FORCE MAJEURE
No refunds, credits, or cancellations shall be issued due to:
• Weather conditions
• Smoke or air quality
• Natural disasters
• Public health events
• Government restrictions
• Facility closures
• Utility interruptions
• Events outside Kickstart's control
Kickstart reserves the right to modify session schedules, formats, or locations as necessary. Where reasonably possible, missed sessions may be rescheduled, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.
8. DISCIPLINE & REMOVAL
Kickstart reserves the right to suspend or remove any player or parent from the program for:
• Violations of Kickstart policies
• Unsafe behavior
• Harassment or abuse
• Misconduct at training sessions
• Non-payment
Removal or suspension does not eliminate financial responsibility under this agreement and does not entitle the participant to a refund.
9. NO GUARANTEES
Program registration does not guarantee:
• Specific coaches or instructors
• Specific session dates, times, or locations (subject to availability and operational needs)
• Any particular skill development outcome
• Advancement to competitive teams or higher-level programs
• Scouting, recruiting, or exposure outcomes
10. RIGHT TO MODIFY POLICY
Kickstart reserves the right to modify, update, revise, interpret, or change this policy, registration terms, payment terms, program structure, fees, schedules, or participation requirements at any time, with or without prior notice.
Any updates or modifications become effective immediately upon publication, posting, distribution, or implementation by Kickstart.
Continued participation in any Kickstart activity after any policy update constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of the revised terms.
Failure by Kickstart to enforce any provision of this policy shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement rights.
If any portion of this policy is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11. AGREEMENT
By registering, making payment, or participating in any Year-Round Development Program activity offered by Kickstart, the parent/guardian and player acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation and Refund Policy in full.
